Terms of Service

These terms cover adding Bond to a Discord server and using it there. The figures below are the same ones the pricing page shows, taken from the same source.

1. Acceptance of terms

By adding Bond to your Discord server, or by using Bond's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to them, please do not use Bond.

2. Description of service

Bond is an AI-powered Discord bot that lets server administrators manage their servers using natural language. It provides 176 tools covering channels, roles, permissions, moderation and more.

3. Eligibility

To use Bond, you must:

  • Have the Discord permission an action needs in the server where Bond is used
  • Be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age Discord requires
  • Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines

4. Permission system

Bond uses a permission-based system: any action that changes your server needs your explicit approval before it runs. You can:

  • Allow an action once, or permanently per server
  • Deny an action, with optional feedback
  • Manage permissions with the /permissions commands
  • Revoke every permission at any time

You are responsible for reviewing and approving actions. Bond does not carry out a write operation without your consent.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Bond to:

  • Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Harass, abuse or harm other users
  • Distribute spam, malware or malicious content
  • Attempt to exploit, hack or reverse-engineer Bond
  • Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions
  • Carry out any illegal activity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Free tier. Bond offers a free personal tier with a weekly allowance of 600K tokens on Light. Long conversations and multi-step requests use more of that allowance than short ones. Every tool is available to everyone.

Paid plans. Personal Pro is $7.99 a month. Personal Max comes in 4 sizes, priced Max at $19.99, Max 3x at $49.99, Max 7x at $99.99, Max 20x at $199.99 a month; the size is a setting on one subscription, so changing it moves that subscription rather than starting a second one. A change of size applies immediately in either direction, and the prorated difference appears on your next invoice: a charge when the size goes up, a credit when it goes down. Server Pro is $7.99 a month and Server Max is $19.99 a month. Billing is handled through Polar.sh. Personal and server token packs are one-time purchases.

Refunds. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Contact us in exceptional circumstances.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Access continues to the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

7. Usage limits

Allowances are measured in tokens. A token is the cost of one uncached input token on Light; cached context, output and reasoning are converted at the provider's price ratio, so a short request uses few tokens and a long multi-step one uses more.

  • Personal free allowance: 600K tokens a week on Light, shown in /usage
  • Personal Pro: 6M Ultra tokens a week and 200 image credits a month
  • Personal Max: 15M Ultra tokens a week and 1,000 image credits a month
  • Personal Max 3x: 45M Ultra tokens a week and 3,000 image credits a month
  • Personal Max 7x: 105M Ultra tokens a week and 7,000 image credits a month
  • Personal Max 20x: 300M Ultra tokens a week and 20,000 image credits a month
  • Personal Max daily ceiling: every Max size above the first may spend at most a third of its weekly allowance in a single UTC day, resetting at 00:00 UTC. This is a safety limit that bounds an automation, not part of the allowance you bought, and the weekly figures above are unchanged by it
  • Server Pro: 6M shared Ultra tokens a week, 2.5M per member per week by default
  • Server Max: 15M shared Ultra tokens a week, 6M per member per week by default
  • Server member shares: the default above applies until the server changes it. A server may set a different weekly share for the whole server, for a role, or for an individual member, anywhere from 250K tokens up to the whole weekly pool. The member who bought the plan and the Discord server owner have no share at all: they draw on the pool until it is spent
  • Light inside a server with a plan: 1.5M tokens per member per day, resetting at 00:00 UTC
  • Token packs: 3M tokens for $2.99 or 6M tokens for $4.99. Metered the same way as the allowances above, and spendable on Ultra
  • Earned invite and referral credits: one Light prompt each

Weekly token allowances reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Unused tokens do not roll over. Pack tokens and earned credits do not expire and stay available until they are used.

In a server with a plan, a request draws on server-funded Ultra first, then a personal Pro or Max allowance, then pack tokens, then earned Light credits. Outside such a server the same order applies without the server funding. For free users, pack tokens and earned credits are spent before the weekly Light allowance. When an Ultra allowance is exhausted, Bond falls back to Light.

8. AI-generated actions

Bond uses a language model to interpret your requests and carry out server management actions. We aim for accuracy, but a model can misread a request or produce an unexpected result. Review the proposed actions before approving them. You are responsible for the consequences of actions you approve.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Bond may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for damages resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of liability

Bond is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from your use of Bond.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bond, its operators and its affiliates from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of Bond after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes are announced through our Discord server.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Bond at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. You may stop using Bond at any time by removing it from your server.
