Questions people ask about the tools
Do I have to give Bond Administrator?
No. Every tool maps to the one Discord permission that action actually needs: Manage Channels to create a channel, Ban Members to ban someone. Bond also checks your own permissions before it runs anything, so it will not do something on your behalf that you could not do yourself.
Can Bond change my server without asking?
No. Anything that changes the server asks you to confirm first, and you can allow it once, allow it always, or deny it. Only read-only tools run without a prompt: listing channels, fetching a message, looking up a role.
Can Bond read my members' messages?
Bond only receives the content of messages that mention it; Discord withholds the rest. When you ask it to summarise or clean up a channel it reads that channel's recent history through Discord's API, and read-only results are filtered to the channels you can see yourself.
Do I need to learn any commands?
No. You never call these 176 tools by name. You mention @Bond and describe what you want in a sentence, and it works out which tools to use. There are a handful of slash commands for account and permission management, and /help lists them.
